FPS drop (stuttering,spiking)

I'm having stuttering and lag issues in most of the games.wt can causing the problem??.please help.

i5-2500
500GB HDD
HD 7770GHz edition
8GB Ram
H61M-S2P

Something is holding up your performances, check for GPU driver updates, chipest updates, BIOS update, other drivers update, make disk defragment, check for viruses.

i tried eveything u said.and i checked core clocks GPU clocks everything.everythng works perfecrtly.GPU usage 100% when gaming CPU it like 70 80.wt could be the problem??all drivers are updated.But when i stress test PSU FPS drop in 20 second from 117 to 40 50 FPS

its a normal PSU i think that might be the problem its hard to find a branded PSU in here.so i change another normal PSU.and i found out in PSU stress test when GPU hit the max CPU 50 60 and when CPU hit the max GPU 50 60 can this be a PSU problem ?? in both normal PSU's

no no i took a my friend's PSU bt both are not gaming psu's ok.normal PSU's.

So, under full load, again you have FPS spikes and lags, even with your friends PSU?

ya battlefield 3 fully unplayable even with 45 fps.splintercell blacklist seems stuttering.blackflags seems fine.and farcry 3 also stuttering...

Well, maybe it is not PSU problem, you have reached the 7770 limit. On what resolution and settings do you play?

1280X1024 and all in ultra settings..

PandorumXXXX :

You are pushing the 7770, try lowering to medium-high settings and don't use AA. I believe with medium settings the spikes and lags will disappear.
