buying new ram not sure if it works

alright so i just built a new pc iam not so good at pc's how ever my current motherboard supports 2133 mhz ram and 32gb and i have amd radeon 4gb 2133 x2 and its my birthday the 28th may so iam thinking of getting 1 more of thoose ram would that work?

Best to buy two more ram sticks, I guess you have dual channel ram.

Hi Eeg Sextant ,
buy exactly the same ram , exactly the same kit , brand , timings and voltage as you have and you should be good to go without a problem
just remember to enable xmp in bios or set manually as your board will more than likely not support 2133mhz natively

Can try, but mixing DRAM can be and often is problematic, XMP is programmed by the packaged set...so it may or may not work, if you do and have any problems, give me a shout, can often adjust timings voltages to get them to play if they don't want to, no guarantee, but good possibility

Mobo = motherboard, with your CPU, you might be able to run 2 sticks at 2133, if thinking 32GB would look at prob 1600/9 max. AMD doesn't have strong MCs (memory controllers) see here:

hi m8 no i did not say your supports 2133mhz only ! ,
i said "your board will more than likely not support 2133mhz natively " that is completely different
it was not untill after i posted this and logged in this morning that i even know what motherboard we are dealing with !
according to your motherboard specs i was correct your mobo will not natively support 2133mhz unless xmp settings are enabled.
you can use 2133mhz ram because you board will support speeds of up to 2133mhz. if you are using 2133mhz ram at the moment without
your xmp settings enabled or manually set then you motherboard will clock that ram down to the boards native speed of 1600mz

They will most certainly work without having to enable xmp in the bios , you will be fine to install and you will be good to go
as long as you dont mix them with the 2133mhz ram you already have

When you install them initially they will default to the mobos default, either 1066 or 1333, if 1600 or higher they will require you to either set them up manually or use the on-board DRAM OC profiling of the mobo, think yours uses DOCP or EOCP
