ram upgrading ram to corsair 8gb 1600mhz total of 4 modules: my current ones are hp 4gb made up of 2 modules 10600 u-9-10-bo: my operating system windows 7 64bit motherboard msi b75a-g43....

Soand cpu intel 15 15-3570k would the corsair 8gb 1600mhz work ok once replaced the old ones

Solution
Actually for 8GB, if the mobo supports 4GB sticks, and it should, for 8GB best would be a 2x4GB setup, less stress on the MC (memory controller) with only 2 sticks vs 4 sticks
Yep. Check mobo website approved ram/qualified vendors list for new ram.

Turn off PC. Replace RAM. Boot into Bios. Check RAM is recognised and settings correct. Save and Exit into OS.

If not on QVL and doesn't work then you'll have to swap back.

Yeh by what im reading it would be best to fill all 4 slots. As at this moment im running 2x2gb of ram sticks which are not listed in the mobo manual they run very well.
