Curious for some input. Plan to put this system together sometime in the next couple months. I've built my own systems before, but not for a few years now. This would become our main HTPC (which I'll eventually hook up to a projector) and will also replace all our console games.

Thanks for the feedback! What's your reason for switching the SSD - better drive with same space? Do you think I need a larger SSD? I was also considering dropping the 2tb HDD and simply using network storage...

I don't know a lot about modern video cards and requirements. I've read mixed reviews of 4gb cards - most saying they are not necessary. I suppose I was trying to be future-proof and I wanted to be able to run Skyrim maxed with lots of mods... There's also a chance I'll run multiple displays once I hook up the projector, but that's all further down the line.
