Hello,

Recently my screens have been turning black, one turning white and the other purple and today, one black and one blue, though this is very colourful it is becoming a problem. There is also a buzzing noise coming out my headset. So far the only way I found of fixing this was to power down and power up my PC (the old turn it on and off). This is now happening at least once a day. I dont recall this being a problem when i only had one screen.

My specs are as follows:

Haswell i5
GTX 770 graphics
i think its a 650w PSU

Solution
Ok this may be a hardware problem The solution took some investigating and this may be the problem, i believe the your GTX 770 does NOT spin its stock fans up fast enough or spin soon enough.
You should use your card manufactures software and set the GPU fan profile to run at a minimum 42% and set it to spin up EARLIER then the stock profile (which had the fan at about 30% most of the time).
Please tell me how you get on.

Thanks
One screen OK? (Try it again) What are they - make & model. Audio and video should be independent. Headset noise is usually from poor fit to pc socket eg dirt - clean it.
I gather the whole pc is pretty new from the specs. Please check PSU make and model.

I think they are: BenQ VW2430H 24 inch Widescreen LED Monitors.
No graphics cards have been installed apart from the current one.
I just cleaned my PC yesterday coincidentally. (while writing this reply it happened again, this time i had only 1 screen connected to the PC)
PSU is: Corsair TX650

Thanks for the help. :)

What case is this housed in? How many intake and exhaust fans?
Make certain you have enough air flow into and out of the case. Don't count your PSU fan, it really is just for the PSU.
Your GPU may be overheating causing it to crash thus showing the colours.

Thanks DerekODwam!

Seems like your solution has worked, since I increased the fan speed, my PC has not crashed today, though i have only been running one screen, im pretty sure the second screen wont make it crash.

Thanks
