Problem now:

Before i couldn't place anything where the red zone is marked but now i can at least place 2 icons there.

this problem came with a resolution problem that i had, but with a creative solution was solved and a lot of help of the people on this forum.

now there is still this 1 problem left, how can i solve it?

i didn't receive any error messages when trying to place an icon there.

the only error that i got was a csc error, at the same time i was having graphical problems (there solved by the way)
i don't know what this error was i got it from restarting or shutting down (don't remember)

it's been 3 weeks since i got that error, still don't know what it was.
other than that no errors.

Hi,
Based on the current situation, let us uninstall Fences to test it.
Meanwhile, it may be caused by the third-party software. So, I suggest you try the clean boot mode and safe mode to narrow down the issue.

By the way which windows do you have? so that I can tell you the steps!

Fences is a software to clear the desktop, it might also clear your mystery (might). Try intalling it.

Still,
You can run CMD and enter the command SFC / SCANNOW. this will restore the files that are currently under the Windows protection, which might have been changed by malware or other tool you have tried to install.

After changing the auto arranging setting for the desktop don't forget to log off. Remember that!

- what exactly does it do?
- will i put my pc in danger if i do this?
- will i lose something if i do this?
- what is windows protection?

about the auto arrange setting:
are you saying that i need to shut it off and then log off?

CMD means command prompt.
Go to-
1. Start
2. All programs
3. Accessories
4. Command Prompt

Don't worry your PC won't be in danger.

And will not lose anything

Windows protection is a body in your PC where some files are protected!
