Hi everyone,

After some months of researching on liquid cooling, I've put together a list of components I plan on purchasing to kick this project into motion. Before I start buying, I'd really appreciate it if you guys can run over my list and give me some additional advice.

Few particular questions: I plan on doing a little bit of OCing on the CPU and GPU - what kind of loop should I have?
Because I am going with the 750D, should I add in an additional radiator 2x120mm for the front?
One of the major reason I want to go with liquid cooling is because I want to reduce dust collection in my system - how should I position my radiator fans then? air going out of case or into case? How would it effect dust collection?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Here's my list:

Computer Components
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Formula $299.79
CPU: i7-4770K Haswell 3.5Ghz $339.99
GPU x2: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 4gb Classified Hydro Copper $1,159.98

SSDx2: Samsung 840 EVO 250gb $306.18
Case: Corsairs Obsidian 750D $159.99
Subtotal: $2,805.91

Cooling System
CPU Block: Swifttech Apogee $66.99
Radiator: XSPC AX360 Triple 120mm $99.99
Pump: Aquastream XT USB 12V $124.95 +14.55(shipping)
Reservoir: Phobya Balancer 250 Reservoir - Black Nickel $49.95
Rad fans x3: Noiseblocker NB-Blacksilentpro PL-2 120x25mm $68.85
Silver Coil: Antimicrobial.999 $8.25

You're way overpaying on the motherboard, RAM (Dominator Platinum is ridiculously overpriced for what you get) and also the power supply. And what are the two SSDs for? If you're going to put them in RAID 0 - don't, it won't increase performance at all and actually will set the drives up for failure far more than running them independently. I would do something like this:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($214.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme6 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($143.49 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory ($76.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($161.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($54.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($669.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($669.99 @ NCIX US)
Case: NZXT Phantom 630 (Gunmetal) ATX Full Tower Case ($137.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: NZXT HALE90 V2 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($168.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer ($23.99 @ Amazon)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 - 64-bit (OEM) (64-bit) ($94.99 @ Best Buy)
Total: $2418.39
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

This rig is $400 cheaper while providing you better GPU performance especially if you plan on using this rig for gaming. If you insist on getting an i7 and 16GB of RAM (not necessary for gaming) you can and still save a lot of money, but Dominator Platinum is ridiculously overrated and overpriced.

Thanks for your advice, but I'm not concern with price. I'll revisit the SSD situation.

My primary concern is with liquid cooling system. Do you have any advice on that?

Have you actually seen the case yet. i would advise you to get the system but run it on air while you plan where the pumps and reservoirs goes. Custom water cooling will require a lot of planning. So if you don't know the case layout, i suggest to wait a bit before jumping into water cooling.

I've been waiting for months :( . I've checked out a lot of images of other people using this case to make a good looking system. So I do have some what of an idea where things are going to go.
