Installing Graphics Cards?

Hello!
I need to know how to install a graphics card! I am goin to buy a new one however i have no clue how to install it! I was going to get my local pc shop to do it however they just closed pernamently.
So if anyone could help that would be great!

Insert it into PCI-Express slot,then connect 6pin or 8pin cables from your Power supply to it(if necessary).Then check if it working,then install the driver.

Tell us more, what are you other specs? Are you switching form Nvidia to AMD or the other way.

Before changing, go into device manager and uninstall the old card, then shut down, replace the card and connect the new card according to manual/instructions, start up and then install the drivers for the new card.

What card do you have? Do you already have a graphics card that you're upgrading?
