The title really says it all. I recently pieced together a computer with an AMD FX-6300 Vishera 3.5ghz (4.1GHz Turbo) and ASUS R7260X-DC2OC-2GD5 Radeon R7 260X. The rest of the pieces of the computer are as follows:

AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core

Cooler Master Hyper TX3 54.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing

MSI 970A-G43 ATX AM3+

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600

Western Digital Caviar Blue 640GB 3.5" 7200RPM

Asus Radeon R7 260X 2GB

NZXT Source 210 (White) ATX Mid Tower

Corsair 750W ATX12V / EPS12V

Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

Running as is with no OC I can play WoW at High graphics with 50+ FPS until I get into a graphics heavy spot (typically 25 man raids) that's when I lower my settings to low and have 30-40 FPS.
I'm wondering if the card can be crossfired with the CPU? If so, how do I go about doing it?

Please no flames, I do not have the money to buy anything other than what I have now and I am a novice when it comes to putting a computer together. This is my first build.

the r9 270x is a great card and is capable of using mantle which really helps with the 270/x. not so much with the 280/290 yet. that motherboards vrams get kinda hot its similar to mine ( 970a-46g). mine comes with heatsinks but still gets hot so i wouldn't want to try and crossfire, plus then you need a good psu, and good airflow or better cooling.

So should I invest in another card and crossfire? Or, a better single card?
