Can't access files on HDD when using SSD Windows 7 Installation.

I just installed a new SSD and I can see the program files on my HDD when I am running Windows 7 through my SSD, but when I try to go to my user data and I click "continue to permanently gain access" to my user folder, nothing happens. How do I get to those files?

If the HDD came from another computer, you may need to "Take Ownership" of the folders and files. See this tutorial: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1904890/ownership-folders-windows.html
