Okay. I finally got my first PC build together this past Christmas. I'm thinking of sinking more money into it when I can afford as kind of a hobby.

This is the original build. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/DeltaRecon2552/saved/4mtE

This is the build after my upgrades.

What do you guys think? I know an SSD would be nice in the future. But that will come later. Just so you know, my I5 is overclocked to 4.2ghz and runs a little warmer than I'd like with the EVO.

I'm going to jump into video editing soon and I'm going to go to 4k resolution in the future.
Oh and Arma III and DayZ absolutely destroy my awesome rig.

Personally 4k is kinda too early. I prefer single gpu setup. You could wait until single gpu can handle 4k games. But nothing is stopping you expect price and the drivers

Well... I'm going to wait til Christmas before I fully decide on the SLI. But I'm getting the better PSU and Kraken for overclocking purposes anyways, so I got the 850 watt so I could SLI in the future in case I need it.

Nice rig, when you do something w/ the DRAM would suggest a set of 2x8GB rather than mixing two sets of 8GB, mixing sets, even the same exact model can be problematic, the 780 SLI is great (have it on my Hero, in sig), and the better CPU will be needed....keep an eye on prices - whenever they finally release the new 8xx nVidia series, prices may drop a little

Do you already have the i5 4670k? If not go for the i7 4770k more and more games are starting to take advantage of hyperthreading for eg. Watchdogs. Also why not go for a corsair RM 850 watts? Fully modular and make sure your OS is 64 bit. May I also suggest looking at the steel series apex keyboard?
