Hey guys, I'm building a new rig and I've hit a roadblock. My rig looks like this:
Intel Core i7 4820k @3.7GHz
16GB Corsair Vengeance @1600MHz
Gigabyte X79-UD4 Motherboard
Gigabyte nVidia GeForce GTX 780Ti OC 3GB
It includes a 3TB HDD and a 512GB SSD.
Now, this is all from scratch. My question is, what do I do when I turn on the PC? Put the disk in and follow the prompts? More specifically, though, ***is that I want install Windows on the SSD***
Secondly, I read in the motherboard manual that one of the steps in the startup process is to configure the BIOS... is this necessary? Or can I run it by default?
