Solution
that is a great classic build

I looked at your pcpartpicker and if I adad a graphics card from there then it looks like the best bet for you is a gtx 760. this will be a great 1080p GPU

So would you recommend the XFX one as this build needs to last quite a long time. I have heard some people say corsair CX PSUs aren't that good in terms of reliability is that true?

Splendid
seasonic is considered one of the best and xfx are made by seasonic.

tha PSU seems fine to me. you can read more here if you like:

it seems this is a cwt unit which is okay

I would save money and get the xfx unit.

it scores very well also and is the seasonic unit

I beleive all of these xfx units are based on the SeaSonic S12II . at least the 550watt one is

Thanks. Just one more thing I found this awesome looking case (http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/x?productId=59963) and I was wondering if it would fit my build as its not on pc part picker :(

it looks like your motherboard will fit just fine it takes atx boards.

I prefer this setup and this is my cheap case:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119233

you can get it with lights, but this is why i like this case. fans. it has room for 2 x 200mm fans. these move a ton of air and are also quiet (bigger fan blades require a lower rpm to move the same amount of air). I also like the fan blowing in on the side.

your mobo has The MSI Z87-G45 GAMING has a total of five fan headers. These are all 4-pin PWM headers that are fully adjustable in the BIOS.

useing one fan instead of two allows you to have all of your fans attached to the CPU temp and therefore have active rpm adjustment for all of your fans. yeh for quiet pc

YEA! It all works perfectly and look really cool but I think the case needs some more fans. It can take a total of 6 and I have two installed I was just wondering how many of the possible 6 I can install.

Thanks for all your help :)

If you have the cooler master case put a 200 mm in the from and the top then use the two smaller 120 or 140 mm fans in the rear and side. The bottom ones blow in and the top blow out. I use the cheapest cooler master 200 mm fans. They are good but there are better but the price goes up quickly. I run a severely overclocked cpu and two gpus and my case temps are great. The only thing really gained by better fans is how quiet they are but my fans are not loud at all. Just a gentle hum

My mistake, I meant how many fan connectors (I think that's what there called) the mobo has, as I can't seem to find it anywhere.

you can download your user manual or see the specs at the MSIsite

use option 2
