I have an R9 280x Vapor-X edition, the card is not OC'd, but it is auto overvolting, I got Afterburner (over Trixx) to force my voltage to 1000 to make sure it doesn't degrade quicker. The rest of my build consists of an AMD FX-8320(stock cooler), 8 Gigs of TEAM RAM, an Asus M5A97 R2.0 motherboard, a Thermaltake 750 Watt smart PSU, 500 gig WD blue drive, 300 gig WD Velociraptor, and a 500 gig Seagate drive. When starting a game the card auto overvolts past what it should be when it isn't OC'd, sometimes causing a BSOD, sometimes causing lines like this: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxuUHwpCgGg), the card isn't over heating, the GPU stays within the ~45C range on a full load(Far Cry 3 on Max settings with AA) with fans at 50%.
