Hello guys
I am building a PC and can't decide between the two GPU's
1)Radeon R9 270X with boost
2)Nvidia GTX 750 Ti

Can someone help me out ?? I am not sure about the 750Ti because it cant be used in SLI, so is there any other gtx card available for around the same price ??

Overclock : Probably
SLI/Crossfire : Maybe in the future

Thanks a lot

More about : amd nvidia

the GTX 750 might be quite a bit better performance wise but still the R9 is no joke either xD

The R9 270X is your best bet. I know for a fact it can play Battlefield 4 on High/Ultra when paired with a FX-6300. Make sure you get a good brand with a decent cooler - Such as MSI, Asus, Gigabyte or EVGA.

Why are you comparing the GTX 750 ti and the r9 270x? they arn't even in the same price range.... The 270x is like $75-$100 more so yes it performs better... You should be comparing the GTX 760 to the r9 270x. Comparing these two cards I'd go with the gtx 760 it is higher performance for pretty much the same price (well maybe ~$20 more than the 270x).

actually the MSI GeForce GTX 750Ti 2GD5/OC costs the same as Sapphire AMDRadeon R9 270X with BoostOC 2GB
(i'm from India). Both cost about $250

the gtx 760 costs $350 which is well out of my budget.

Ah in the US the gtx 750ti is ~$150 and the r9 270x is ~$230 and the gtx 760 is ~$240-250. With your prices then its an easy choice get the r9 270x.

Yeah, if they are the same price, then get the 270x.

I know you said gtx 750 ti but I suggest going with 760(Just wait a little long till you have the money).Nvidia currently seems a better company to me,I mean they released drivers and got better performace than mantle.I personaly have the asus R9 270x but sometimes I regret buying that card.Plus a whole lot of games seem to be optimized for Nvidia.
