Hello,
I've done some research, but since I'm new to all this I'm not sure if I can proceed further on buying my new one. Here are my specs-

1600x900 32bit 60Hz Display
Intel Core2Duo E7500 2.93 GHz
4GB RAM
Win7 Ultimate 64bit
Intel DG41RQ MoBo with one PCI-E x16
450W PSU
Current GPU- MSI GeForce N9400GT

I think this info is enough. Please let me know if it is not.
I'm planning to buy EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Superclocked 1GB GDDR5 128bit
http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Superclocked-Dual-Link-Graph...

Will my config support this card?

I wanted to upgrade as I cannot play the latest addition to my fav series, Assassin's Creed Black Flag even at minimum settings. After the upgrade I wish to play at the highest graphics. I'm also looking forward to play Watch Dogs atleast at moderate settings.

I got to know about bottle-necking of GPUs by old CPUs. So I wasn't sure if I can get what I'm expecting. So I'm desperately in need of advice.

I prefer to stick to nVidia.

Thank you. I appreciate it.

The gtx 750 will enable you to play the latest titles just dont expect to play them on the highest settings. if you can come up with the extra $20 id recommend the 750ti. It's significantly better for a minimal price increase .

Then get the 260x. When it comes to lower end GPUs radeon has nvidia beat anyway. It calls for a 500w but if your psu is of good quality you can get away with it.

I thought you were talking about 750Ti when you mentioned the price.
And yea sure. I can't find where I got it from. So uploaded it here-

The PSU is ages old. I'm not sure.
Will GTX 750 let me play recent titles at moderate graphic settings? If yes, I think I'm okay with it. Does it go well with my other config?
Thank you

You won't be able top play AC4 on the 'highest' settings by juts getting a different GPU. Your system is too low end and needs to be replaced, as these games require MINIMALLY QUAD core systems, which means i5 or better (yes the new Haswell i3s are quite good too but you will in 2015-2016 run into the same issue again, so silly to waste the money for just 1 year or so of gaming the 'latest titles').

If you have a question on a game, simply go to www.canirunit.com and it will tell you how your system matches up, and the specs needed to play the game. NOTE: MINIMUM SPECS mean the minimum the game can RUN - NOT BE PLAYED as expected. RECOMMENDED SPECS ARE THE MINIMUM if you want to play a game AS EXPECTED (i.e. as I saw them play on the Youtube video).
