Connecting HP 5100 to Belkin n600db

I had to replace my router with the new belkin, hooked up my printer vie ethernet, and it doesn't work. Used same name for network and password as before. Help.

I was hoping it would auto detect because I used the same network names. I have never set the network pref in printer. I see there are menus. What would I want to change? The router name, IP address? Sorry, I do a lot of things but not networking

I have been trying to follow your advice and I am grateful for your efforts to help me. Thank you. So far, I have not been successful. I am way better at strategic planning, music, photography, and advertising than this.

What I needed to do to get the printer on the network was to hold down the green button as I turned it on to get it to reset, then print out the specs from the menu and program that IP into my printer setup on the mac. So the info to restart the printer and it would find the address would not alone work to get found. Thanks for everyone's help on my behalf.
