No i don't have. Even my windows updates are turned off.

Might be the System Restore points rather than the backup specifically... go clear them out and see if you get any space back.

If you want a quick way, the script linked here will do the trick: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/96013768/Clear%20System%20Restore%20Points.zip

When you extract the batch file and run it, make sure you right click and select Run As Administrator (unless you have UAC disabled), otherwise the script will do nothing.

i found something that will analyse your system and give the size of all files so you could install it and made a print screen the same day then tomorrow when you open the system again made another print screen and compore both you will see witch software use the hdd space it is free http://www.jam-software.com/treesize_free/

Ok trying

The BA has been de-selected.

For the sake of security, turn updates back on. You can clear out the Windows Update cache either by using the script linked below:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/96013768/Clear%20Windows%20Update%20Cache.zip

Or by manually deleting all files under the following folders on your C drive:

C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download

I assume the reason you are not installing updates right now is because of this drive space problem?

Run WinDirStat and let it scan your C drive. It will show you were all of the data on the drive is located. Once you know where it is, that should give you an pretty quick indication of why it is there and what you can do with it.

Hi, I don't really have a solution but the exact same thing happened to me.

My 120GB SSD went down to about 3GB and I was only using about 60GB
Then one day i turned my PC on and le wild 60GB appeared.
Hopefully this info will help someone find you a solution.

I have uninstalled everything(except system apps) but still no effect, around 120gb is used i.e. 40gb is free for me.
