CM quick fire wont connect w/ ps2

like the title says, it wont get recognized by my pc when using ps2 adapter.

i got the key board in January this year and have been using it through usb connection but i changed my desk setup and now want to use the ps2 port, when i connect it to ps2 the keyboard lights up for a second then goes off and doesn't respond when i press buttons.

so i read your comment and went into the bios. and i dont remember exactly but it was something like wake up using usb/ps/2 etc etc. so i enabled it and saved changes and rebooted. and it worked. but im wondering if making those changes even mattered. maybe i just needed to restart the pc?

maybe ill go back and change those options to what they were and see if the ps/2 port still works. then ill know that i only needed to restart.
