Can i use a lenovo thinkserver as a everyday desktop?

I found a lenovo thinkserver desktop and wanna know if i can install windows 7 ultimate sp1 and use it as a desktop(for gaming,video editing, etc)

Raid is just a way of combining a bunch of storage together for easy access. I'd suggest, don't use vista. Buy windows 7 or 8.

I believe you could. I've seen people do it before, just remember since its a server theres going to be a few challenges: it doesn't sleep it just hibernates, and you might have to buy special ram for it (im not for sure on that one), also it has a lower power supply.

Just remember the few things I told you. They are setup for raid, so that'll be useful if you need it.But they don't sleep, just hibernate. Also you might have to buy special ram, and they have lower power supplies (around 300-400 watts)
