Good 23"+ monitor for gaming? £100-£175?

So I need a monitor that is almost great for gaming, and I don't really want it to be flimsy or anything.
Basically, I need a monitor with good build quality that is really responsive and is great for gaming, if anyone knows one, could you link me to it?

The ASUS VG248QE sounds ideal for what you want. Excellent for gaming, great build quality, high quality stand.

It SHOULD be around £175, because it is around $270 USD in the US. However, I checked amazon.co.uk and it's listed at £275 :/ Check some other euro retailers, since I don't know of any.

I agree with Kekoh, and down the road when you get some extra cash you can get a DIY G-sync kit to install in the ASUS VG248QE . Right now the G-Sync kit is about $200 USD, but it is still new so I am sure with time the price will drop.

Honestly, I don't even see the need for G-Sync on a 144hz monitor unless you are getting over 150fps. Even still, a lot of games allow you to limit the FPS. I think G-Sync will be mostly beneficial to 60Hz monitors.

Yeah, it can also be tilted up/down by 15 degrees, as well as easily rotated left/right because the stand has a swivel thingy. The monitor can also be vertically rotated to put the screen in portrait mode.

It's a very high quality stand.

I was watching some game play on YouTube of BF4 @1080p on ultra, 144hz with a GTX 780ti Classified Kingpin, and he was hitting 170 fps on some of the multi player maps. his average fps was around 120. do you think that would cause any problems? I am asking because I plan on buying that card, and the ASUS VG248QE when I get home in 2 months, and i am not sure if i am going to get the G-Sync kit for the monitor.
