Not sure if this is anything to be worried about but, when I went to turn on my computer today I was greeted by my normal BIOS start up screen, i left to do something and when I got back to my desk (3-4 minutes later) BIOS boot screen was still up and the computer did not make any beep codes or provide any kind of feedback. once i restarted the computer, it managed to POST in about a minute, (my normal time is < 15 sec). not sure what the problem is, i have made no changes, hardware or software in the past month or so. I might just be over reacting and this could just be nothing, but I have a fairly large amount of money in my computer system and would hate to see anything be damaged and I not know it.

my motherboard is a GIGABYTE X79-UD3
my processor is an Intel i7-3930K

I'm not sure what if any other components are important for this, but if I left something important out then i will surely provide that info if it is helpful

Thanks

By "them" you mean the Gigabyte motherboard?
