I am using an MSI R9 280x along with an FX-8350 @ 4.0Ghz and 8gb ram. Whenever I play games such as Battlefield 4 or Battlefield 3, my GPU usage usually sticks around 40 - 60%. But every minute or so, the usage drops to around 10% and so does my framerate. I have no idea why this is happening, and it would be great to hear some input on this because it is really ruining my experience. Should I just buy a new GPU? Or does it also have something to do with my CPU? Please share your thoughts. Also, I am using dual monitors; don't know if that helps.
