I recently cleaned my computer (compressed air can dusting)
I reseated the ram to (I have a history of computer freezing every now and then)
I switched my fans on the coolit systems eco 2 240 (because one of them wasn't running and i made it work again)

then when I plugged in the computer, it shuts off after running for about 5 seconds. So I left it cool down for half an hour and rebooted it. The computer turned on to my homescreen but shuts off right after. I repeated and this time i quickly opened HW Monitor and it shows my CPU temperature keeps raising, and it shuts off at 70 Degrees celcius. I checked my cooling system and both fans are running fine. I tried putting a different heatsink in (It didn't fit but i used my hands to hold it down) but it still overheats rapidly. My computer can boot to the home screen perfectly fine but CPU over heats. I'm wondering what could have happened :(

I use a GeForce Zotac GTX 560
MS 7641 VER 3.0 Mother board with AMD FX-4100 (Came together)
Coolit systems Eco 2 240
RipjawsX - F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL (x2)
Seasonic ss 650ht active pfc f3 Power Supply

What could have gone wrong during cleaning a computer and readjusting the heatsink fan?

Im really novice with computers so please bare with me if I ask something I may not understand :(
I didn't build this computer myself, my friend just helped me build it for me. So please be more in depth when it comes to trying to take a part apart :X

I had thermal paste on it, i never removed the thing that was locked on to the CPU just changed the fans around. I know for sure that i had thermal paste on. :(

Only thing I can suggest is take the heat sink off. Take CPU out and carefully seat it back in, checking that you have it orientated correctly IE corner CPU triangle thing is on the same corner as triangle thing on socket. CPU heating up so quick even with cooling working suggest a circuitry fault maybe the CPU isn't correctly in it's socket with all your cleaning and readjusting.
