Corsair's High performance fan VS Quiet edition

You could just lower it, but if you are undervolting or anything like that, Corsair's SP120 fans are very bad for that. Just get the quiet editions, the high performance ones wont give you that much of a better performance.

I will say this, Corsair SP120 fans are not the best in general. I am not a fan of them. I have two SP120L fans. They just dont work well for my low RPM configuration.

I got a twin pack of both the AF and SP Quiet editions. I hate noise and tests have shown the SP's do move a large amount of air, and they do it well. Weird how you don't like them.

Meh, I guess its personal preference. I just think there are some better options. But I would still use SP 120 quiet edition fans if I had some. I use Noctua NF-F12 fans and when I compare them to my corsair ones, they do a lot better. Corsair SP120 fans are not that good at lower rpm's but great at higher RPM's. I run mine in low rpm's and if I used Corsair fans at a high RPM, they would be loud. Not everyone likes the looks, but they are hidden at the top of my case with my radiator, and my blue LED's make them look rather nice actually.

They aren't bad fans, there are just better options like the gentle typhoons and AP123's.
