1440p monitor shopping taking advice

Solution
I'm using two GTX 780s.

I don't really notice any ghosting or input lag. When I was reading the reviews, people have complained about the input lag, but I haven't experienced it. You will have to do some calibration though; there's a forum topic on this on OC3D i believe.

I received my new 1440p monitor in the post yesterday, it cost me £220 (just over $300) on eBay and it's from South Korea. The monitor is absolutely perfect and cost nearly half the price, brand new.

In my opinion, and this is entirely down to how much risk you want to take, buying a Korean 1440p monitor on eBay is so much better value for money. The reason they're so cheap is because sellers like Samsung and Asus only sell monitors which meet a certain standard, such as >95% perfection. The Korean monitors are those monitors which don't quite hit that 95% standard, but they're still something like 90% perfect. The monitors which don't get picked to be sold by big monitor brands are then purchased by Korean companies who simply fit their own monitor casing on the screen.

Sure, my monitor doesn't have the nicest looking casing/design, but the screen is a Samsung 1440p display which would normally cost £400+. If you're interested, take a look at Korean monitors and watch reviews on YouTube, they're really not a scam. The guy I bought mine from is called 'storewithstory' on eBay, he's a great seller.

Oh, and these Korean monitors can be overclocked up to 120Hz, I got mine running at 96Hz, not bad for just over £200.
