System Shutting Down After Upgrading from Intel i3 2120 to Intel i5 3570K

I upgraded from an Intel i3 2120 to an Intel i5 3570K and now I'm having issues. My motherboard is a Biostar B75MU3+. I installed the new CPU, but when I turned on the computer, I got to the Windows 8 loading screen (Black screen with the blue Windows 8 logo and spinning dots underneath) and then the computer completely shuts down. I tried again, but the same thing happened. I took out the new one and put the old one in and now its working again, but I'd really like that upgrade. The motherboard says it's socket is 1155, and that is what the 3570K, so I'm unsure what the problem is. I've checked my BIOS and I believe I'm up to date.

Any help would be appreciated.
