Cooler Master 430 Elite~ Optical Bay Installation?

I am having huge troubles getting the front of the optical bay open to install my disk drive. Does anyone have ideas on how to do it?

Are you talking about removing the entire front panel from the case, or are you talking about just removing the drive bay cover from the front panel?

You have to take off the front panel, bend the tabs holding the mesh cover in place, then break out the piece of sheet steel blocking the bay.

Well idealy both, but mainly just the bay cover so I can get in the dang optical drive. I dont plan to use the drive much, so I'd like to keep the case looking good

Ah, to do that you take off the front panel, and there should be some tabs holding it in (If I remember correctly to my 430)

Update, I remembered wrong, I went and dug my case out. Just push on it from the outside and it will pop inward.

Yeah you just line it up and push it back in from the inside.
