I always get a plugin failure showing up and prevents me from watching videos. Sometimes, I will refresh the webpage and it will work. Most of the times it doesn't. I checked for safari updates as well as the flash player but everything is updated to the latest version. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it and it still doesn't work. I also tried doing the peer-assisted networking and added youtube to allow but it doesn't work as well. Any ideas?

Works perfect on my system. I'm running the latest version of Safari. It was updated not too long ago, I believe.

If not try this: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5248074?tstart=0

You can also download AppCleaner to uninstall Flash and reinstall.

I had the same "plug-in failure" messages on my 2010 iOS 10 Mac when using Safari. I tried all the suggestions I found posted, but nothing worked.

Finally, I loaded Google's Chrome, and have now set it as my default browser. PROBLEM SOLVED. I have never had the "plug-in failure" message since using Chrome. It's a whole new world! I think there's a serious conflict between Safari and Flash which can not be solved. Switch to Chrome if you want a quick/easy solution.
