Got a two parter - Is there any benefit to getting the Z vs H 87 Pro cards using the i5 4670 (not k so no overclocking) using only one monitor?
Question two: on board video for Z says "depends on CPU" - so with an i5 4670 does it have on-board video?

Basically I am looking to buy the GPU in several months but the rest of the rig now.

both have answered the onboard video question but neither answered the first question - namely, what benefit(s) if any does the Z87 Pro have over the H87 Pro (or vice versa) given no overlocking nor multi-screening? And, to add to this, given that the price difference (this second anyway) is less than $20, would it be better to just go Z87 Pro anyway?

Z87 supports overclocking and 3-way SLI/Xfire while H87 does not support overclocking and is limited to 2-way SLI or Xfire. Otherwise, there is no meaningful official difference. As long as the H87 board has all the ports, connections and features you need it should be fine.
