I have recently purchased a Radeon XFX R7850, and I am having an issue with it. No matter the various things I try, from going to help pages, and even to the AMD website to get the correct drivers, I have had no luck getting it to work. I installed the graphics card, hooked it up to the power supply and all that fun stuff, and just got a blank screen. I don't know if this has anything to do with the fact that I am running Windows 8, but I would really appreciate some help here. Thanks!

Solution
Did you have a dedicated graphics card in your system before? If you didn't you may have to go into your motherboards bios and change the primary display output to PCI-e.

Hi Fearmetak,

1. Did you check if your PSU can carry your card's voltage?
2. Make sure you attach your card tightly.
3. As Greybush said, try replacing the settings in the BIOS. But normally it should automatically detect the PCI device.
4. Replace your VGA or DVI cable you are using.
