Can I use a second GPU for screen recording?

Hi all
I have a fairly modest computer setup at the moment. Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.6GHz
6GB DDR2 RAM
Radeon 5570 1GB GDDR5 (I think, it may be DDR3)
Bestec 250W PSU (I have this because my computer is an upgraded Dell Inspiron 530s)

2 Questions:

1. Can I buy a low-profile 750TI without upgrading the PSU, or do I need to upgrade
2. I have a spare Nvidia Geforce 210, so can I plug that into the spare pci port and use it for recording games? I was using Open Broadcaster Software and I noticed that one of the settings is a setting for which GPU to use. Would that work as an option for recording without spending money? I'm sure the PSU can handle the extra card, but would it be a viable option for recording at 30 FPS or higher?

Generally, you can't mix and NVidia AND AMD in the system.

If you want to up grade your GPU, I'd upgrade your power supply. You'll need a 350 watt supply for a 750Ti.

If you do get a 750Ti, good New IS, you can record in-game video with that card alone. It's built right into the NVidia drivers. Just use GeForce Experience, it's called "ShadowPlay"....

Bad news, if its that's the "Slim Line" case. Your going to have trouble finding a power supply with 350watts and one to fit the case. It'll generally cost a bit more too. You'll also have trouble finding a half height GPU, there are a few thou. You might also find your system overheating as those slim line cases have very limited air flow. Bottom line, might want to change the systems case too.

This PS might fit, you'll have to check as the non-ATX power supplies come in a range of sizes n shapes:

210 = 13 watts
5570 = 38 watts
750 = 76 watts
750Ti = 92 watts

Normally about 200 watts for the system plus 38 watts for your 5570. Your at the very limit of your supply right now.

I don't see 200watts for the system and 92 watts for a 750Ti happening with a 250watt supply.
