so this is my first somewhat high end build and i would like some opinions before i go and do something stupid, it will cost quite a bit but i'm hoping it will be worth.

CPU: AMD FX 8350 (also considering an 8320) it's gonna be running at stock speed for quite a while but i do plan on overclocking, will buy decent after market cooling then
motherboard: ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0
RAM: 8 GB corsair vengeance (2x4) may go with a (1x8) and add another 8 later on
HDD: 1 TB WB black
SSD: samsung 840 evo 120 GB
GPU: AMD R9 290 (or a 280/280x)
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750W 80 PLUS Gold
CASE: thinking about getting a cooler master HAF series, however if you do have anything else in mind that would work please do make a recommendation.

I would recommend you an Intel build for a bit higher price.

after some searching and fiddling around most sources kinda said the fx 8350 is better than the I5, plus where i live the prices are sky high, so that build you just suggested would cost me way more than it should

In multi-thread programs yes 8350 is better but in single thread programs even i3 is better.

how's the air flow on a CM k380?
its kind of the best case i could find that wont cost me more than the CPU

and this PC is gonna be strictly for gaming so i think the CPU choice doesn't matter as much as the GPU
i'm kind of an idiot, bare with me

Yeah that case has good airflow, you'll be fine with that case :)

considering your build, with a few tweaks for budget, MB is not available but that shouldn't be a problem
and just to give you some idea of what i meant by prices are sky high, SSD costs the equivalent of 150$
CPU costs the equivalent of 300$
shit is that expensive here

Yeah! you're not alone I paid about 150$ for shipping because in my country parts are also have crazy price :D
I bought only case and PSU in my country all other parts I ordered from Amazon.com and thanks to god all parts arrived in perfect working condition :)
