Can i use a SATA interface slim DVD Drive on my desktop PC? I'm trying to download a fresh Windows Operating System on a brand new built PC and looking for a cheap way to download it via DVD Drive.

Can i use this DVD Drive for my motherboard to install a fresh Windows 7 System Builder Disc? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003GD9OCS/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller=

This is my motherboard www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I6DLKCA/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Solution
If it is an actualy SATA slim drive then yes. You will still have you buy the Power Adapter for it though but the SATA cable should plug in like any normal sata device unless the DVD rom drive uses some special connection
