Depending on which title, yes. At 1080p my gtx 750ti SC gives me an average of 35 frames on BF4 on Ultra.
If you're playing games that are not as demanding as BF4 and Crysis 3, maybe like LoL or Rust, you should be good.

Your cpu should be fine but you should consider overclocking to get the maximum performance from it!

You should be alright right now, and the CPU will be good for Crysis 3 and BF4, if you only play on High settings.
For skyrim, don't mod it to hard, or else you will run out of GPU VRAM.

40 <- on high with MSAA at max, probably 30 - 35 on Ultra.

If you are looking at 4gb ram, get it in 2x 2gig sticks to make use of your dual channel memory, i would highly recommend 8gb though for gaming (I think newegg has a sale on their 2x 4gb stick pack right now). Save some money and get a MOBO that is a 970 chipset, you wont notice a difference

Get a good PSU (you dont want that failing): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027,

Make sure to add a case, windows, and a DVD burner to that list.

It really depends on the overclock, depends on how far you push it, if you do though you will NEED an aftermarket CPU cooler. which i recommend getting anyways even if you don't overclock just for noise factor alone, a hyper 212 + is only 30$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

I would go with 1080p, but none the less, i would only go up from the 750ti, I would say the 270x. The 750ti that I would buy is the MSI, or EVGA card

Your best price/performance 270x is the MSI. dispite the bad recent reviews, there is always an RMA, and I believe that MSI makes quality products. The older reviews are good on it.

the 270x is going to preform better in most situations, and is worth the extra $ in my eyes.
The 270 would work aswell

out of the 270's i would go with the sapphire.
