Sapphire R9 280x Vapor-x Question

Was wondering what the 6 LED's on the card are for, the 6th one is one all the time, the 5th occasionally flashes, and the others never see any activity. I've tried google with no luck.

That's the "SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 TRI-X OC WITH BOOST" correct? Took me a while to find that one, as it turns out there's more than one vapor-x R9 280X.

The lights on the back apparently light up to give a visual representation of the amount of power phases currently in use. So in other words, it's not that important, but will give a rough idea of how much power the card is currently using.
