Hello,
my notebook specs are listed here:
1) CPU: Intel® Core™ i7 3537U (2 GHz, 4 MB, L3 Cache) Intel HM76
2) GPU: AMD Radeon™ HD 8570M with 1 GB gDDR3 (PowerExpress)
3) 10GB DDR3
Its NP730U3E-S02PL Samsung 7 series ultrabook with extended RAM memory

The problem I see is that it has 2 GPU. The 2nd one is integrated and I fear that old games like: Heroes of Might and Magic IV are pushed to this low performance one GPU. Only solution which helps is to disable animations but this makes this game looks ugly. Do you by any chance know how to increase performance of this game?

it's because older games were designed to run in xp. if you can run a virtual machine with gpu virtualization on you might have more success.

or dual boot xp

Older games may also not use all cores of you cpu.I think there is a way to use only one gpu(instead of running them both) in a laptop.

Could you give me and instruction how to do so? For a test i tried to run this game on my pc also with windows 8, and i do not have any problems there. The specs of my pc are:
1) Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8500 @3.16Ghz 3.17Ghz
2) ATI Radeon HD 5800
3) 4GB RAM DDR2

Do you know any other way I can try to improve performance on my laptop?

While looking for my PC specs I have found a strange thing... Catalyst Control Center doesn't work at all, it is not shown in systray and it doesn't want to show. Games shouldn't work on my PC if i don't have drivers. I haven't been really playing any game for 9 months. Do you think that in anyway this problem with CCC could help HoMM4 performance?

CCC doesnt need to be there for the driver to be. you arent the first person to have problems with CCC though.

it could still be related to your problem though.

But still there is no explanation why game runs smoothly on my PC, and laggs like crazy on my ultrabook with similar specs.

Edit:
While game is running on my ultrabook, the CPU usage is pretty low, and I think GPU is also low. Is there a way to make computer use more CPU and GPU in a way old rivatuner made for nVidia cards?

The problem now is that I cannot update my GPU drivers as my card is not detected until I install samsung original ones. When I cleaned GPU drivers ati program which finds drivers could not even find model of my 2nd card. Any other solutions?

On my old HP laptop there was a way.I think it was called switchable graphics so you would either use the high-end or energy saving gpu. There were 2 modes as I recall a dynamic both gpus running at the same time and fixed in which you would only run 1 gpu.I dont know if thats possible on samsung laptops or if it has a different name or something but you can try to find some more info.

You could try a game booster. Also as I replied to neon neophyte there might be a way for samsung laptop to disable 1 gpu like HP laptops(With switchable graphics) I currently dont know how or if it is possilble.I will reply back to you.

If there is an option like switchable graphic you might find it on the amd catalyst

There is an option, but it doesn't seem to work very well because I have poor performance in both mods: max performance and max energy saving. I don't know how to find precise GPU usage and way to increase CPU performance .

On what games are you getting poor performace specifically?
