This is a german made pc sold bu aldi's - http://aldi.medion.com/md8361/nl/?refPage=medionbanner#ausstattung_anker

Did you install windows on the new hdd? The PWR LED gets connected to the motherboard. You'll need to read the writing on the headers. The motherboard is made by Medion - http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/pcs/1296637/medion-akoya-e4057-d and there's no info available on it. It should be where the HGG LED and PWR SW go.

When is a bargain not a bargain? If it's not too old, take it back for a refund or replacement (yuck)
