More RAM needed

Solution
Ok going by cpuz screen shots
you have ddr3 1600mz ram , you said kingston , timings are 11,11,11 which is a fairly slow module anything over cas 9 is too slow ,
your cas latency determines how fast your ram can communicate with your cpu the larger the number the slower the speed.
I would recommend getting 2 new 4gb sticks with a cas latency lower than 9 .
i can suggest some kits at 1600mhz with cas 7 or cas 8 if you like , where are you from , can give you local price
Hi Mathew Winters,
need more info m8 ?
what ram ? , What motherboard ?
is hard to go on lack of info but another 4gb of the ram you have will give you the 8gb you need , that is assuming your motherboard will take 8gb of ram and that you have two ram slots to put the 2x4gb sticks in , if you only have one ram slot then get an 8gb stick once again assuming your board will take 8gb ram

Sorry about that, this is my Motherboard but i do not know anything about it. M5A78L-M/USB3

yes m8 you can hold up to 32gb of ram with that motherboard it has dual channel memory slots which means the board can take another 4gb of ram no problems , it will be cheaper to buy 1 more 4gb stick to get your 8gb rather than not using the 4 you have and replacing it with a single 8gb stick,
another 4gb stick will also give you dual channel performance rather than single channel .

i dont mean how much in total ,
i mean is there 2 x 2gb sticks of ram in your motherboard
is there 1 x4gb sticks of ram in your motherboard
what brand is your ram , what is the speed of your ram ?
what operating system are you using is it and is it 32/64bit ?

I Think 1 4GB (could be wrong) the DRAM Frequency is 803.6
Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit)

i needed to know if you had 32/64 bit because windows 32bit will only support up to 4gb of ram so i wanted to make sure you could use the 8gb
and yes you can because you have a 64bit operating system.

i need you to power down and remove the side panel on your case. look at the memory slots to see how many are populated are there two sticks of ram in seperate slots or just 1, then remove 1 stick by depressing down on the tabs at either end of one stick and gently pull it out with slight rocking motion.
on the memory stick will hopefully be some information written on it example Kingston ddr3 1600mz 2gb 9,9,9,24 or something like that , write that info down for me or take a pic , then put the ram back in , lining up the slot and gently pushing down till the tabs clip back in then power back up and give me that info and then i can match that ram also any numbers written on that sticker a serial/model number would be great.
if all that sounds like too much trouble i can just recommend 2X4gb sticks to replace your current ram with and we wont bother trying to get the same ram

I know for a fact that it is a 4GB KINGSTON DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz (1 x 4GB) :)
