Hello, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support. We apologize for the issue experienced with out microSDHC card. The MediaRECOVER software requires a key to be used that is packaged with our professional CompactFlash Cards and not available for microSDHC cards. Since the card is being recognized properly in your GoPro but having issues in Windows there may be some kind of minor file corruption Windows does not want to overlook so to speak. You can use a a free recovery tool like Recuva to retrieve your files (www.piriform.com/recuva/download) and then I would recommend formatting the card in your GoPro or if on the computer with the SD Association format tool (https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/). It is best to format SD cards in their intended device or with this formatter to avoid damaging the protected area of the card that Windows built-in formatter is not equipped to properly handle. For any further assistance, please call us at 1-800-435-0640 (USA and Canada only) M - F 6am - 6pm PT and I or another available Technician will assist you.

Thank you for selecting Kingston as your upgrade partner.
