Hello. I just got my new case sent, and im thinking on watercooling my CPU, but im worried about the distance on the tubing.

Im using the Corsair storm trooper case, and i want to fit the H100i in the bottom (room for two 120mm fans) but im worried about the tube not making the distance between the radiator and the CPU. Im using a ATX motherboard :)

No not in the front, i have taken a text from cooler masters site. see: http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=3054

Air cooling:
1. Front: 120mm Red LED fan x 2, 1200 RPM, 17 dBA
2. Top: 200mm fan x 1, 1000 RPM, 23 dBA (converted to 2 x 120 / 140 mm fans)
3. Rear: 140mm fan x 1, 1200 RPM, 19 dBAn (converted to 120mm fan)
4. Side: 120mm fan x 2 (optional)
5. Bottom: 120mm fan x 2 (optional)

And for watercooling:

Water cooling support:
- Top: 240mm optional
- Bottom: 240mm.

im not seeing a place for a 240mm rad at the bottom. i see one 120mm and possible another 120mm under the psu.

as for the length from teh cpu to the bottom, it is extremely close in a straight line, any deviation from a straight line might make it impossible. i cant find anyone who has mounted a 240mm rad the way you are describing.

If you remove the "toolbox" at the bottom, in the front, there is mesh and dustfilter under that too. If i remove that and maybe the 3.5 ports box, that is lowest i will definetly have room for it.

Oh. That was the answer i was looking for, because i measured it, and could see with 11.5 inches long tubing it would be tight. Thats why i wanted to hear if anybody else did it :)

well u got me. its close for the hose to reach from cpu to bottom. really close. you will want to be careful about stressing the hose as well. ive heard of h100i hoses popping off and spilling liquid all over.

may i ask why you dont want it top mounted. that is where everyone mounts it.

I already got fans mounted up there, so it will be a bigger expense for me, but that maybe better, i could just use push/pull config then. The corsair High static pressure fans are good for rads arent they? I couldnt find any in 140mm, only 120.

Do you know any good 240mm good rads, with long tubes/hoses, and shipping possibility to europe? :)
