HDD is not displayed on the Windows 7 pro Setup

I bought a new computer w/o a HDD in it. when i try to put my 1 tera Samsung Verbatim in as the primary HDD, it does not show up in the Windows 7 pro setup. But i can see the HDD on the bios and the bootmenu. it is in ACHI mode on the bios, but still wants me to "load drivers" in the windows 7 pro setup.
how can i get my HDD to be displayed?

What is the 1 tera Samsung Verbatim ? I see either Samsung HDD or Verbatim external HDD, it maybe the new version hard drive.

If it is the desktop or laptop HDD, try it other PC to see it show up or not. Or try other SATA port.
If it is the external HDD you can't use it for installation the OS.
