What graphics card upgrade from GTX 460?

Hello,

I am looking to upgrade my graphics card.
Budget is £100 or so (I live in the UK).
My son plays some steam games like Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2 as well Minecraft.
I am ideally looking for something reliable (this is probably my last upgrade to this PC), power efficient and not too noisy.
What are the sorts of graphics cards I should be looking at and what sort of performance gains will I get?
Also, what should I sell the GTX 460 for?

My PC spec:
Mobo: Asus P6X58D-E (ATX)
CPU: Intel i7 920
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX460
PSU: Antec 650W Truepower
SSD: Samsung Evo 250gb
HDD: 1TB
Monitor: BenQ 24" 1080p
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro

Thanks
Tony

The 750ti is around £100 and is very low on power consumption.

I'm not loyal to a brand, whatever you can find that is cheapest or best for the money (memory, factory OC etc...)
Though I've heard great things about MSI, they are very quiet too:

There are cheaper options available like the one below, but the first one's cooler is great if you want it to be silent!

Thanks, again.
Will I get a decent improvement or am I better off just leaving alone for the extra money?

For gaming, yes you will see a big improvement, also the 750 ti has newer drivers and new support for the long run.
