Hello!

I recently bought a HD 7870 OC, but I want to know if there's any bottlenecking or something wrong with my cpu:??: , I'm getting low fps in games and low perfomance in 3d aplications like sketchup and lumion. Another thing is, when I put lowest settings and resolution only gets 4-7fps+ whyyy??? :( . I have a 1280x1024 screen and get the following fps in games:

10-25fps in Metro Last Light high settings no AA
25-50fps in Crysis 3 very high settings no AA
30-90fps in Combat Arms highest setting 8xAA
40-120fps in League of Legends highest settings

Here's my pc specs:

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64bits
Processor: AMD Atlhon II X4 2.66GHz
Motherboard: ECS GF8200a Black Edition
Memory: DDR2 800Mhz 6gb
GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 7870 OC 2gb (In a PCIe 2.0 Slot)
PSU: Super-Flower 750W 80+
HDD: Western Digital 320GB + Western Digital 250GB

Note: I have installed latest driver and wiped out older drivers....got same perfomance :( !!
Help pleaseee, and sorry for my bad english!!

Thanks for reading!!!

Yup, I'd think that there is bottlenecking as the GPU as it is over £100 more than your CPU.

Your bottleneck is your ram and cpu. If your ram and cpu are not fast enough they cant feed the card. If I were you I would get a cpu ram and motherboard bundle. You don't need a super fast CPU to power the 7870 but but it needs to be faster than what you have

Your old CPU and ram are a big bottleneck especially for newer games that will be more cpu demanding.

A jump up the something like a FX-6300, 8Gb of ram(ddr3 1600 with a CAS of 9 or lower), and a motherboard(with a 970 or 990 chipset). Would be a massive improvement.
