When I was waiting for my computer to start up this morning, I saw a spark fly out the back of the casing and I smelled electrical smoke. I opened up the casing and I saw that my graphics card fan was not spinning and the little cylinders on the card had brown fuzz coming out of them. I have tried taking the card out and putting it back in again, and that hasn't worked. Please help me

Did it ever occur to you that your gpu might just be plain broken...like it has blow capacitors on it :S
I hope this post was a troll ... and not serious.
But seriously, you need to buy a new graphics card or get a new one sent under warranty or something.

So I was kind of expecting that the graphics card would be broken but I was wondering if I could get it repaired? Or do I have to get a whole new one...

Oh sorry...your post did kind of have the kind of 'troll look' to it, you occasionally get trolls on here xD

but yeah...ermm, GPU repairs aren't really done by anyone so you could do it yourself...which is kind of only possible sometimes and is VERY difficult. Alternatively you could just save yourself the time and effort and buy a new one. Seriously, sounds lazy but really isn't worth 'repairing' your GPU.

For now you can run off of 'onboard' graphics on your motherboard. Just plug your monitor into the motherboard instead of the GPU. They'll be a pile of Sh*t at gaming but will work so that you can browse the web and watch films etc in the meantime.

Hope this helped you out.
