Do APU graphics work like crossfire?

I'm looking at an AMD A10 7850k. Obviously I would need to upgrade the graphics eventually. If I got, say, an R7 260x later, would the built in graphics on the APU and the R7 work together like crossfire or would it just cancel out the APU graphics all together?

You can actually crossfire an APU like the 7850k with the 260x/270, if I'm not mistaken.

The 250 is the highest that can dual.

I wouldn't recommend it. Amd seems to be neglecting dual graphics ever since they released it with the first apus. In many cases it decreases performance.
