Hey guys. I screwed up. I was deleting the old Linux partition and merging it with Windows XP and on reboot, I got the Error, no partition, grub rescue. I was previously running Ubuntu 12.10 32 bit. I am trying to make an Ubuntu Boot-Repair disc to see if that will change anything. What should I do?

OK so the CD I burned and the Lili USB key with the same thing on them didn't boot. Is my only hope finding a Windows XP disk and repairing the MBR?

In your BIOS boot menu, check to see if your USB drive is listed under "harddrives" instead. This is the case on many motherboards. If you can still not boot from USB then you may require booting from a CD or DVD.
