Hello community,

I'm looking for a new gaming rig with the following requirements:

Budget: $1000.
Usage: Mostly for gaming. Playing games like LoL and Blade & Soul. Moba and MMO generally.
Accessories: Have keyboard, mouse and monitor so budget does not include them.
OC: No. (I feel the need to include this as my choice of games shouldn't requires overclocking to perform. However, if it is beneficial for future purposes, feel free to choose a CPU that can be OC.)
SLI or Xfire: No.

Thanks in advance for anyone that chip in their build suggestions.

Solution
i believe you dont need to spend a grand for non-OC build

Hi,

I do agree I don't really need a grand to work around a non-OC build. I actually visited your 1k gaming setup page and kinda like it except for the mobo part. I'm not a huge fan of ASRock mobo, would you recommend a similar ASUS mobo to replace it?

Thanks!

For the mobo, I would recommend the asus z87 a. The reason why I spent 1k is cause i thought you wanted to just use the money and not have to worry about upgrading. The only real difference between our builds is the gpu is lower and no ssd.

Thanks for the recommendation for the mobo. Your build suggestion is good too and I really love the SSD included in it. I would probably do a mix and match between both build suggested.
