I recently Purchased a Intel 530 240gb hard drive and I am having significant issues with it. After updating the firmware for both the SSD and my mobo I was still encountering the same problems. From what Bluescreenview was telling me it had something to do with the NTFS.sys file and the ntoskrnl.exe file.

Considering these were system files I thought the most likely course of action would be running the repair tool for Windows but for whatever reason it was not recognizing my new SSD. So after hassling with that for about a few days I moved on to formatting and reinstalling the OS in the hopes that a fresh file would fix the problem. It didn't so now I'm lead to believe there is some odd conflict with the way the SSD is working in tandem with my computer and I am absolutely stumped.

Unfortunately because of the OS reinstall I have no dump files so I will post those later when another error occurs. For now I was more or less hoping for some possible solutions.

Since it is an Intel drive you can check to see to see if it is plugged into an Intel SATA controller on the motherboard. That is if you motherboard has more than one type of SATA controller. I ran into an issue with an Intel drive being plugged into a Marvell controller and got constant blue screens, shut downs, and memory dumps until I switched it to an Intel controller. Not sure if that applies here but thought it might be worth mentioning.
