Hello, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support. We apologize for the issue experienced with our USB drive. The behavior described would indicate that the drive has failed. If you check in Disk Management the drive may be listed with "No Media", if it is listed otherwise it may be possible to 'clean' and format the drive using diskpart in Windows command line. We stand by all our products and can replace the drive under it's warranty. Please call us at 1-800-435-0640 (USA and Canada only) M - F 6am - 6pm PT and I or another available Technician will assist you.
Thank you for selecting Kingston as your upgrade partner.
Have you checked its file system? Is it in RAW file system? If it is, you may have chances to rescue both of your pen drive and stored data.
Firstly, connect this drive to computer and scan it with a data recovery tool like Recuva, 4Card Recovery, TestDisk and more to see whether all your restored data can be retrieved.
And then, format this drive to see whether it is repairable. If the Windows formatting cannot help you out, a professional formatter can give you some hand.
I hope this will work for you.
